I just realised that I haven't been posting anything decent recently...
Not like as if anyone else still reads my blog.
Just thought that maybe sometimes,
I should update my blog about my life,
Like how I used to do it.
Life in MDC has been making me too busy for any proper post.
Anyways, I'm a happy girl today.
Damn tired and my legs are getting sour already as I typed this,
But I know I'm happy.
Because today, I went kite flying.
Headed down to Sengkang but only to find that it was flooded,
Which I totally had no idea how could it be...
But since while I was at home I've been hearing thunder rolling,
The rain probably drenched Sengkang area instead of Pasir Ris.
Was perfectly dry at my place though.
Wet muddy fields means that we were unable to fly the kites there,
So we headed to this park nearby but still,
Epic fail much.
HAHAAA!!
It was just simply too hilarious trying to get the kite up in the sky...
Plus, there was no wind at all!
So we decided to change to another location instead;
The ever popular kite flying hotspot - Marina Barrage.
There were hell loads of kites in the sky!
And it was beautiful!
I forgot what time we got there,
But it took us like super damn long to get the damn kite up in the sky.
Lousy skills + no luck + no advisor + no wind.
How to fly kite like that?!
All these tiny tiny things, are actually kites.
This photo doesn't do any justice to all the colourful kites flying in the sky.
After like really hours of trying,
When the sun is setting already,
We finally got one of the kites up!!
Many many tails is sooooo nice flying in the sky...
Ahdi was quite indignant about not getting his kite up in the sky...
And he was certainly quite insistence on doing it...
After much help,
His kite finally flew up!
Too bad the sky was already turning dark at that time,
So I was unable to snap the picture.
But still, it was a really cute kite!
It would definitely looked great in the sky,
If we caught had it up when the sun was still shining LOL.
Both the kites were black thus when night falls,
None of us could see the kites in the sky anymore!
It was just too dark!
After much delay and reluctance we finally took the kites down...
It was getting wayyyy too late already...
And the reels that we used seriously sucks big time!
It just screws up as and when it like man!
So at the end of the day we have........................
2 poodles of mee siam for the boys to sort it out HAHAA!!!
It was certainly very tiring,
But at the same time it was damn fun also.
My only conclusion for the day is: I'm a happy girl. (:
