but no pic...
we are POR-FESSIONAL cleaners ok~
and oh!
i forgot to mention one thing!!!
u noe the toilets in china, are not like those in singapore..
its those squatting type one, and they hardly have the sit one...
and even in the hostel, its still THAT KIND OF TOILET BOWL!!!
and on the day we went to oushang, we discovered a wonderful invention.
its a TOILET SEAT!!!
its looks exactly like a foldable chair...
jus that the seat is designed in the shape of the sitting TOILET BOWL!!!
and we bought it immediately!!!!
its such a wonderful thing to see it in China!!!!
will post the pictures some other time!!!
and once, we went to this restaurant...
recommended by peipei senior!!
and the food there is not bad lah...
jus that i dun like the waitress...
we were trying to order food...
and there was the 肉丁blabla thingy on the menu...
in china, there are beef everywhere but i dun take beef.
so in order to make sure that its not beef, i asked the waitress.
我:请问一下那个肉丁是猪肉还是鸡肉?
(cos miao n pris were certain it aint beef, so i ask was it pork or chicken)
服务员:就是肉丁。
我:我知道,但那个肉是猪肉还是鸡肉?
服务员:就是肉丁。
like HELLO?!?!?!!!
which part of the question u dun understand?!?!!!
maybe u can consider going back to pri sch?!?!!
and learn some comprehension?!?!!!
learn how to understand the question and give a APPROPRIATE answer?!?!!
the restaurant looks perfectly fine right...
but take a look down.
this was in the same restaurant at some corner.
(look at the surrounding, not the two person)
it looks EXACTLY LIKE OUR HOSPITAL back in spore!!!!
hahahaaa!
ok next...
shall talk abt the trip to lingyin temple.
its quite a magnificent temple...
we didnt reli take much pictures of it...
cos its rude to do that the the god statues...
we should learn to respect others' religion, even if we are not their believer...
this picture was first taken when lee kow fong taught us marketing... and it was the very last lesson we had with him...
and we tot we would nvr see him again...
(he was part-time at that point of time)
and now!~
history repeat itself again!!!
the same poses, the poisitions, the same people at different place.
this is the hill in the temple, called fei lai feng.
i believe all these sculptures were from dunno how many hundred years ago...
kept here till now...
its very hard for me to explain the whole thing so yea...
its ok...
we climbed the stone steps and went into this cave.
while i was busily happily snapping pictures away,
i overheard this tour guide introducing the place.
and he told us to look up.
and this thing, a sculpture, scared me like mad.it looks exactly like as if there's somebody up there...
to say it out straight, it looks like as if there's a BODY hanging there.
and a lot of people were staring at this hole in the cave NON-STOP.
and den they will go like "oh i saw it! i saw it!"
in chinese of course...
and we found out they were lookinf for this.
not the pic of course!
they were lookin for something called yi xian tian.
its a very tiny hole in that hole, and u can see light from it.
that why its called yi xian tian, cos its as thin a a line.
and u can see the light and sky from that line.
anyway, after much figuring out of the line, we continued on our journey.
journey to the peak...
ray climbing up those stupid stone steps...
and he looks kinda cute in this picture...
LOL!!!!
me climbing up, panting heavily.
ehh dun forget i got asthma can?!?!!!
i was having a hard time ok!!!
pant non-stop and climb at the same time...
tired like mad...
and i felt so ridiculed when i reached the top...
cos we made our way up jus for this.
a stone.
a stone that reads: fei lai feng ding.
like WTF!?!?!!!
i was damn pissed man!!!!
while others happily take pictures with the stone at the bottom, i stared at it.
and in order to make my hard work worthwhile, i decided to do something.
standing nxt to the stone is NOT enough for me.
so i decided.
to climb on top of it instead!!!!
and oh yes!!! i succeeded!!!
its freaking tall and scary u noe!!!!
i'm scared of heights and i climbed up that stupid piece of rock which i could carve the words myself and put it in my room and i stood up on the rough surface without any support from anywhere!!!!!
my legs were shaking like mad!!!
but anyway, it was a good experience.
but once is enough.
we den went to the temple itself...
tada~
and this is the main hall in the temple...
called da xiong bao dian... (大雄宝殿)
and no, doraemon is not inside.
i noe i look stupid but yea, i dun care.
i touched the 'li' word cos i wan everything to be shun shun li li (顺顺利利)
in the end ray and pris asked me why i touched that...
i explained and they say tot '利' stands for 利益
and i'm totally shocked!!!
i think the sincere heart is all that matters...
as long as buhdda knows its not 利益 can le...
((:
the very sweet-looking me at the highest level in the temple.
the temple got like 5 different layers,
and each layer got one hall...
we went up to each layer one by one and we went to the top!!!
despite all the climbin of the stoopid hill earlier ago...
pris and me!!!!
ray and me at the same place...
i had no idea he was THAT tall...
LOL.
